After 11 years at Cornerstone Methodist Church, next to Steyne Gardens, the charity has had to move due to the closure of the church this summer.

The Christmas shop has now been set up at St Paul’s Art Centre, Chapel Road. It will operate until Thursday, December 17, opening 10am to 4pm Monday to Saturday.

Co-manager Shaun Coppard said: “Customers can find us in the centre by looking out for the triangular red Santa sign on the way in.

“We raise money for national and local charities. As well as the cards, we sell wrapping paper, advent calendars and Christmas goodies.”

There are cards from 25 national charities and five local good causes, with ‘something for everyone’ in terms of designs.

“Once people know we are here, I think we will do very well,” added Shaun.
