The second fundraiser for a charity created in memory of a teen who died from cancer will be an open air movie screening.

Carol Woodley, from Three Bridges, Crawley, will host the public event at Three Bridges Football Club in aid of her charity ‘Positively Gee’.

Carol set up the charity in memory of her daughter Georgina, known as Gee Gee, who died in April, aged 18, after battling cancer for more than a year.

The ‘Grease’ movie extravaganza will take place from 4pm on September 1 with the film starting at 6.30pm.

There will be live music, fairground rides and food and drink stalls.

Carol said she hoped the event would provide an opportunity for families to take a picnic and enjoy an evening of open air entertainment.
