Man taken to hospital after assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man from Crawley was assaulted near Brighton station.

The 24 year old victim was outside Budgens on Queens Road at 3.05am on Sunday November 22.

A statement from Sussex Police said: “He was involved in an altercation and was punched. He was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with facial and head injuries.

“The suspects are three white men all in their early to mid 20s with short dark hair. One was wearing a grey jumper, one a white jumper and one had a jacket over a white T-shirt.”

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact police on [email protected] quoting serial 191 of 22/11.
