Man arrested over Chichester burglaries

Chichester Police have arrested a man in connection with three burglaries which took place in the early hours on Tuesday.

Two properties in Chatsworth Road and another in Caernarvon Road were raided between 3am and 6am.

Items taken included handbags, bank cards, mobile phones, a camera, cash and car keys, though no cars were stolen, police said.

Later on Tuesday local police made an arrest, the force confirmed today.

Chichester Police tweeted: “A male has been arrested in connection with the burglaries that occurred in #Chichester yesterday. Enquiries are ongoing #CatchingCriminals.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact them via 101@sussex,pnn.police.uk or call 101, quoting Serial 164 of 05/01.
