There will also be a medieval village complete with masked executioner, wandering minstrels and a court jester; battle camp with daring displays of weaponry, archery and cannon fire; and atmospheric singing from the award winning ‘Mediaeval Baebes’.

The festival is in support of Chestnut Tree House hospice, Sussex’s only children’s hospice, and fine ales and local organic ‘fayre’ will be available.
