Chichester Cultural Learning Partnership is made up of seven local arts organisations, and each venue will host a number of events suitable for those living with dementia and their families and friends.

Activities include: singing and movement sessions at Chichester Festival Theatre; ancient craft activities at Fishbourne Roman Palace; special guided tours of Chichester Cathedral, The Novium Museum, Otter Gallery and Weald and Downland Open Air Museum; and creative art workshops at Pallant House Gallery.

Sandra Peaty from Pallant House said: “The Living with Dementia Festival in 2015 coincided with the introduction of our new dementia-friendly Art Views series and many of those who attended our events during the festival have gone on to engage with our long term offer.”

“As testament to the positive impact of the arts on those living with dementia, several people have started to pursue their own art interests with the support of the gallery’s pioneering community programme.”

The Living Well with Dementia Festival takes place from April 11 to May 29. For more information, visit cft.org.uk/livingwell
