Instant self service dog wash comes to Haywards Heath

Mac’s DIY Dog Wash are exclusive distributors for the self serve dog wash machine for dogs or cats.

Marketing executive Viv Barrington said: “Dogs love it as they are with their owners so no fretting and the dogs feel secure.

“Dog Owners often only want to wash and dry their dogs when they start to get a little smelly,trying to bath or shower the dog is challenging for both the pet and the owner, wet floors, sinks that get clogged up with fur.

“Mac’s DIY Dog Wash is a great quick fix that only takes minutes to wash deodorise and deflea.”

From £5 pet owners can forget mess at home, fur clogging the plug or wet dogs causing havoc creating around the house.

Dog washers can insert coins, cash or credit card into the unit and wash, deflea and condition their pet with space for all sized dogs.

The dog wash is £5 for seven minutes and extra coins can be inserted if extra time required.

Mac’s website explains: “Pet owners can now enjoy the experience of washing their own pets in controlled and stress free environment at a fraction of a cost of groomers, using the same high tech equipment.

“We are receiving many calls each day from dog owners asking ‘is there one near me?’

One caller actually wants to open her own store and fill it with our DIY dog washes, similar to a laundrette, as she was really impressed with the concept.”

Mac’s have secured has secured European Rights for their dog wash technology.

Viv continued: “Thousands use the Dog Wash on a regular basis in the States and Down Under.

“Whether they go to the local car wash or fore court, pet shop, dog groomer or garden centre, they will be located nation wide.”

The unit takes 7ft by 3ft. Mac’s have had enquiries about the product from Switzerland and Denmark.

The first unit is being installed at the Pet and Garden Warehouse in Haywards Heath on November 10, with the first ten dogs being washed for free.
