Comptons Lane in Horsham has been closed for gas works.
An SGN crew is currently carrying out repairs (Sunday, October 25).
The road is one of the town’s major routes, and the works are taking place near the Harwood Road roundabout.
Claire Buchanan, a spokesperson for gas distribution network company SGN, said: “We are currently carrying out repairs to one of our gas mains in Comptons Lane in Horsham.
“This work has been planned in consultation with the local authority.
“We are working in Comptons Lane close to the Harwood Road roundabout.
“There is a road closure in place between the Harwood Road roundabout and Depot Road, with diversions for traffic.
“Access is maintained for residents of Comptons Lane.
“We are working hard to complete our repairs as quickly as possible.
“We apologise for inconvenience caused and would like to thank road users and local residents for their patience while we complete our essential work.”
