Horsham man found guilty on indecency charges

A FORMER Horsham man has been found guilty of a number of offences relating to taking indecent photographs of children and indecent assault.

Guy Anthony Longhurst (44) formerly of Bethune Road,Horsham but now of Wisbech in Cambridgeshire, was a cadet leader at the College of Richard Collyer, in Hurst Road, Horsham.

He created a 'secret room' at the college for a girl, who was 16 at the time, but who was not a student.

He had pleaded not guilty at Lewes Crown Court to a total of 19 charges.

He was initially arrested at the end of January 2007. was found guilty at Lewes Crown Court today (Friday August 8th) of a number of offences related to taking indecent photographs of children and indecent assault.
