Horsham car parking goes up today

A CONTROVERSIAL rise in town centre car parking fees has come into force today (Monday March 5).

Horsham District Council (HDC) extended the date to implement new costs after campaigners spotted errors in pricing.

Clarification was released by the council which has now launched its official complaints procedure following its responses to protester Susan Michaelis, who brands the ‘extortionate’ rise ‘highway robbery’.
