Kicking off at 10.30am on Thursday October 31, tenants keen to move can come along to find out more about HomeSwapper and get chatting to possible matches.

HomeSwapper is a national home swap service which helps council and housing association tenants to find a new home by swapping with other tenants.

Cllr Richard Burrett, Cabinet member for Housing, said: “This event is a great opportunity for tenants to speak with staff and potential matches about the benefits of joining HomeSwapper.

“The website helps thousands of people move and because the council has partnered with HomeSwapper, the service is completely free to Crawley Council tenants.”

The service works by using the details of a tenant’s current home, along with criteria for a new home, and finds suitable exchange option matches with other tenants.

If it’s a bigger home, smaller home, or a different location, interested tenants can really benefit from using the HomeSwapper service.
