Sunday August 19, 10am: Meet at Pulborough Station car park, 1 charge now applies on Sundays. (TQ043186). Upper Arun Around The Toat. A walk that gets close to the Toat Monument before reaching the River Arun. The return route broadly follows the river back south and passes through the hamlet of Stopham. Gets a bit hilly. (700 bus to Shoreham plus 2A to Steyning). 5 mile circular via Steyning Horseshoe, Round Hill, Soper’s Bottom. Long slow climb early on (but worth it!). Panoramic views. Contact Pam 01903 207375.
