SHOREHAM Art Gallery is hoping to raise enough money to give a child at Chestnut Tree House specialist care for a three-night break.
Prizes are up for grabs in a grand raffle and there will be an open evening on Tuesday, from 6pm to 9pm.
Prizes include a Brighton Pavilion cushion made by Lara Sparks, a Keepsake book made by Sue Edwards, bracelets, a wooden heart carved by Neal Shaw, a two-hour drawing lesson for two with artist Wendy Standen (worth £40), a two-hour photography session on long exposures with Alan Humphries (worth £50) and other handmade items.
It’s an all-day event, raffle tickets will be on sale throughout the day with the draw held in the evening, and the aim is to raise £1,953.
There will be refreshments, including mulled wine, available for a donation, during the open evening and charity Christmas cards, designed by children from Swiss Gardens Primary School, Shoreham, will be on sale.
Shoreham Art Gallery is at 27 Brunswick Road, Shoreham. Opening hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 5.30pm, Saturday 9am to 5.30pm, Sunday 11am to 4pm.
