Horsham police’s neighbourhood policing team is to host a community event at Roffey’s Millennium Hall on Wednesday (October 15).
The police and other local groups, have targeted Roffey in the ‘Think Family’ initiative, aimed at regenerating the area and tackling crime issues.
The event, which will take place between 7.15pm and 9pm, gives residents the opportunity to meet representatives from local services.
The ‘Think Roffey’ team will present recent survey results from South Holmes Road residents, which have helped the team to focus on areas of improvement for the neighbourhood that the local community have identified.
A suggestion box will be available at the event for Roffey residents to give their ideas on how they would like to see their local neighbourhood improve.
The Think Family Team will then use this information to help focus future work.
Sergeant Chris O’Leary of Horsham police said: “This is a great opportunity for local service providers and the community to come together in one setting to share good work that is already going on, plus generate new ideas to help improve the local area still further.
“We warmly welcome the Roffey community to this event.”
Residents who attend the event can enter a free raffle, the prizes for which have been donated by Roffey businesses.
Free refreshments will be available on the evening.
The project is part of the West Sussex County Council Think Family Partnership.
