An expert panel of judges presided over a primary school baking competition for Comic Relief.
Pupils at Hilltop Primary School, Southgate, were judged by Great British Bake-off contestant Cathryn Dresser, and Landmark Hotel executive sous chef Fred Tobin, whose son goes to the school.
Cathryn, of Pease Pottage, said: “This morning I had to go and taste some grown-ups’ cakes, but yours were better! I could have eaten a whole one of all of them they were so yummy. Good job!”
Fred, of Maidenbower, said: “You’ve all put a lot of work, a lot of effort and a lot of thought into this. I’m going to take away some ideas with me back to work.
Well done, you’re all winners.”
