GALLERY: Remembrance in Southwick

THE Remembrance Sunday parade and service held by the Southwick Green branch of the Royal British Legion was again very well supported by the community.

Wreaths were laid by Cllr Fred Lewis, vice-chairman, on behalf of Adur District Council, Cllr Peter Metcalfe, on behalf of West Sussex County Council, Mr Philip Evans and Mrs Marion Pellant, on behalf of Southwick Green RBL and women’s section, and representatives of St John, Sea Cadets, local youth organisations, Sussex Police and Shoreham Port Authority.

Branch chairman Len Mills said: “May I take this opportunity to thank everyone who took part, including our local clergy, for again making it a memorable occasion.
