WARM winter accessories will be created by natty knitters and keen crocheters in free teaching sessions.

Following their successful exhibition last summer, Littlehampton group Arcade Knitters will be running two more sessions to help raise the club’s profile.

The sessions are designed for anybody is interested in knitting or crochet, whether a needle novice or champion crocheter.

The will be the first events in Littlehampton Museum’s exciting programme for 2016.

The first session, on Saturday from 2pm to 3.30pm, will focus on knitting a pair of gloves. The second, on Saturday, January 30, from 10am to 11.30am, will focus on crocheting a warm woollen hat from a square.

James Walsh, chairman of Littlehampton Town Council’s community resources committee, said: “Once again, I am certain that these sessions will be extremely popular, so don’t hesitate to book your place today.”

The group is hoping to inspire people to develop their skills and raise the profile of the organisation.

The sessions are free, with a limited number of places available, and will be run at the museum, in Manor House, Church Street, Littlehampton.

To book, call the museum on 01903 738100 or emailing Patterns, hooks and wool will be supplied.
