Fireworks set to ‘excite’ at Findon school

From 6pm, St. John the Baptist Primary School will play host to fireworks set to music, a professional fire dancer, a bar stocking mulled wine, beer, hot chocolate and a barbeque selling burgers and hot dogs.

Richard Yelland, the school’s head teacher, said: “Our annual firework celebration has become quite a well-known tradition, attracting families from all over the village and beyond. This year’s Fantasia theme is set to be more exciting than ever, bringing the magic of fireworks to children, parents and grandparents.

Tickets cost £5 for adults and £3 for under 16s, and are available from Curtis & Sons, in Findon Valley, Julia’s Kitchen, The Butchers and The Post Office in Findon village. Pre-school children go free.
