On Sunday September 13, three Forest boys were fortunate enough to have the experience of attending a training day with the All Black and Harlequin squad at the Twickenham Stoop.
Sam Jewell (Year 11), Frazer Falzon (Year 9) and Joshua Pratt (Year 8), are all from Forest and the only boys nominated by their coaches at Horsham Rugby Club to attend the event, where they were put through their paces in a number of different training exercises run by the Harlequins coaches.
During the day, some of the All Black squad including Sonny Bill Williams, Victor Vito and Sam Cane came to give their expertise to the younger players. The boys also received complimentary kit and boots courtesy of Adidas.
Out of the 92 boys who attended the day, 23 of them, including Frazer, were invited to return on the following Saturday to have breakfast with the whole New Zealand squad and take part in their pre match run through!. A lifetime experience for us all!
