A FOOTBALL academy based in Lancing has expanded after the ‘phenomenal’ success of its launch earlier this year.
Directors of coaching Jamie Crellin and Matt Whitehead kickstarted ACE Football Academy in February half-term this year at Monks Recreation Ground.
Now, to meet demand, the duo have opened a second venue at Southwick Football Club for the April half-term sessions.
Jamie said: “In February, we welcomed over 60 children to our first ever football fun course. The feedback was phenomenal and we hadn’t quite realised what we had started.
“To fill one venue is a privilege and really reflects on how successful the first half-term football fun course was, but to fill a second venue is astonishing.”
The two coaches originally set up the company to give something back to the community and help youngsters take a step in the right direction.
During the three-day event, children will be given technical and skills training and take part in tournaments and games.
The course runs from April 7 to 9, 9.30am to 3.10pm, and costs £50, which includes six coaching sessions, a full personalised ACE kit and a feedback progress report.
Additionally, the academy will also be providing new services, including a development centre, tiny tots group and birthday party packages.
Matt said: “To be able to offer our coaching services to not only one community but two is great. We just need to stay focused and keep moving forward.”
