Designer makers to exhibit work at craft show in June

To see, buy and be inspired by the very best work created by designer makers, come along to Parham House and Gardens in June to the Sussex Guild Contemporary Craft Show where designer makers will be exhibiting in a large marquee in the beautiful grounds.

One of the 33 Sussex Guild members showing their fine crafts is Fleur Grenier who will be exhibiting her exquisite pewter and glass. Fleur is one of the UK leading pewtersmiths with over 20 years’ experience; she trained at The Royal College of Art, London and has since established a studio in West Sussex.

This year Fleur won the Craft & Design Magazine Silver award in the metal category and she is, for the second time, a finalist in the Worshipful Company of Pewterers open competition, the winner of the £1,000 prize will be announced at Pewter Live prize giving at the end of this month.

Elizabethan Parham House never fails to please. You can spend a delightful day at this historic venue, wandering through the park and gardens, enjoying delicious refreshments while meeting Fleur and the other talented designer-makers of the Sussex Guild who will be pleased to discuss their work with you.

The Sussex Guild Contemporary Craft Show is at Parham House and Gardens, Pulborough on the Saturday June 4 and Sunday 5, 10.30am-5pm. Admission to the craft show, gardens, park and pleasure grounds is £8.50, concessions: £7.50, children: £4.50 with an additional £2.00 for visitors who wish to visit the House. There is ample free parking.
