The closing date for responses to a public consultation about parking regulations in Bognor Regis and Felpham has been extended.
West Sussex County Council says it wants to obtain as many comments and opinions as possible from residents on the current parking situation in Bognor Regis and Felpham.
Six thousand homes and businesses in the town centre and part of Felpham were sent a questionnaire asking whether they had any parking problems and if they want something further to be done about them.
The closing date for questionnaire returns has now been extended until Friday, August 31.
Residents who have not yet returned their questionnaire can still do so in the pre-paid business reply envelope which accompanied it.
The Chairman of the Joint Western Arun Area Committee and member for Felpham, George Blampied, said: “We want to make the most informed decision we can on the future of parking regulations in Bognor Regis and Felpham, so by extending the deadline we can give more residents the chance to let us know what they think.
“Your opinion really does matter so please contact us by August 31.”
