BRAVE multiple sclerosis sufferers are taking on a daring challenge to help the charity that supports them.

Members of the Sussex MS Treatment Centre will be abseiling down the heart-stopping, clifftop drop at Peacehaven Heights.

Deputy manager Joanna Hedges said: “The abseil will be a momentous experience for all, with members of the charity taking part, despite the physical challenges they may face by doing the abseil.

“They will also be joined by friends and supporters of the charity who also wish to abseil and help raise sponsorship for the event.”

The event, on September 8, will raise vital funds for the centre, in Croft Avenue, Southwick, where people suffering from neurological conditions receive treatments, therapies and counselling.

There are still places available to take part and abseil on behalf of the centre.

Joanna said: “If you have always wanted to do an abseil, now is a fantastic opportunity to take part in this adrenaline pumping experience.”
