Woman attacked in Chichester

A WOMAN had her rucksack pulled from her back in Chichester.

The victim, aged 42, was walking from Bognor Road into Florence Road, heading towards Windsor Road at around 8.20pm on Tuesday March 6 when she was shoved from behind causing her to fall to her knees.

The suspects then riffled through her bag before discarding it nearby.

Detective Sergeant Sally Arbuckle from West Sussex CID said: “Fortunately the woman was not seriously injured and none of her belongings were taken but nonetheless she is very shaken by the whole incident.

“Due the victim being shoved from behind and did not get a good look at the suspects, we only know there was about three men, white and in thier 20s.
