West Sussex man jailed for 13 years after sexually assaulting 3 young girls

A West Sussex man who sexually assault three young girls over many years has been jailed for 13 years, police said.

Christopher Brock, 67, now of Coolham Road, Thakeham near Pulborough, was given the sentence, including an year on extra prison licence, at Brighton Crown Court on 31 March, after being convicted of sexually assaulting his victims who were under 16, said police.

A spokesman added: “He will also be a registered sex offender for life and was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order, to last until further court order, severely restricting his access to children.

Detective Constable Della Squires of the Sussex Police Safeguarding Investigations Unit said he assaulted his victims over several years for his own sexual gratification.

She added: ““They bravely supported our investigation and gave evidence against Brock in court which helped bring him to justice.

“We will always investigate such reports and ensure that those who make them receive specialist support.”
