Two in hospital after Horsham nightclub attack

Two young men have been taken to hospital with serious facial injuries after an attack at a Horsham nightclub on Saturday (September 7).Police are appealing for witnesses after two men were punched in a nightclub in Horsham.

The victims, both aged 22 and from Horsham, were repeatedly punched in B52s in Piries Place shortly before 2am, say Sussex Police.

One suffered a suspected broken nose while the other suffered multiple fractures of his cheek and will have to be operated on.

Officers are keen to trace three men over the incident.

They were taken to hospital.

The first man is described as white, 22 to 24, 5’7” and muscular but of medium build. He had brown short cropped hair, a spotty face and dark eyebrows.

He was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans.

The second man was white, in his late 20s, 5’9” and stocky. He had long blond hair on top that was shorter at the sides.

The third man was white and in his 40s. He was wearing jeans.

All three men had Irish accents.

A police spokesman said: “We are keen to speak to anyone who was in B52s at the weekend or has been there previously and recognises the description of the offenders.

“The victims have suffered extremely painful injuries and we want to arrest those responsible as quickly as possible.”
