Arun Police are warning residents to be vigilant following recent damage and break-ins to cars in the Wick area of Littlehampton.

Overnight on Monday (September 24-25) three vehicles were broken into and attempts were made to hotwire them.

All these vehicles were Ford Fiestas and were parked in Courtwick Road, Colebrook Road and Cherrycroft.

Over the same evening a Ford Escort, parked in Clun Road, had damage to the door but no entry was gained and another Ford Fiesta and a Ford Focus, parked in Gloucester Road, had damage to the wing mirrors.

A police spokesperson sad: “This is a mindless act of vandalism and Arun Police urge anyone who has any information in relation to these incidents to call police on 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

“If you see or hear anyone acting suspciously and think a crime is about to occur or has taken place then dial 999.”
