Seven arson attacks in two days

FIREFIGHTERS were called to seven arson attacks across the county on Friday and Saturday.

The first was a bin set alight around 9.30pm in Park Crescent, Worthing.

The second was about half an hour later when eight square metres of sand dunes near the golf club were set alight in Rope Walk, Littlehampton.

Another bin was set on fire around 1am on Saturday morning at the rear of Liverpool Gardens in Worthing.

Also in Worthing, at the open air car park in Teville Gate yet another bin was torched around the same time.

In Lancing around 3am a metal wheelie bin was set alight in South Street.

Still in Lancing, at Sompting Road, at around 7am firefighters dealt with another bin fire.

Finally, at 10.30pm that evening, a bin had to be put out at the rear of shops in Dorsten Square, Bewbush.
