Jail for Slinfold resident found guilty of sex offences

A man was jailed for eight years after he was convicted of a string of sex offences.

Alan Parker, 60, of Streetfield Road, Slinfold, denied the charges but a jury at Hove Trial Centre convicted him on six counts of indecent assault.

He was found not guilty on two other counts of indecent assault.

The court heard that the offences were carried out in Horsham district several decades ago.

Sentence was passed by Judge Richard Hayward this week.
