“Essential drainage works are being carried out until Friday, September 20 to alleviate flooding problems which have affected the area.

“Unfortunately, three-way traffic lights which were put up on Monday caused disruption to traffic.

“County Council contractor Balfour Beatty is now manually controlling the lights during the day to help ease the flow of traffic.

“However, motorists are being warned to expect delays and seek alternative routes where possible.

“Installing new drainage pipes are essential and will be of great benefit to the location in the long run.”
