The £3.17m project incorporates a first-floor council chamber and offices with members’ room.

Charities 4SIGHT and Adur Talking News will also be accommodated in offices on the first floor.

The Citizens Advice Bureau will be based on the ground floor in the new extension, with the rest of the ground floor housing the Shoreham Centre activities in the existing building.

There will be a shared reception area and the centre will benefit from a new commercial kitchen.

Contractors Sunninghill Construction Co are working towards a completion date of June 19, 2015.
