Police are concerned for the welfare of a schoolgirl who has been missing from her home in Storrington for more than a week.

Officers say that Amber Joiner, 15, was last seen when she was dropped at school at around 8am on Wednesday November 28. A spokesman said: “While there have been unconfirmed sightings of her since in Brighton and Storrington, officers are keen to speak to her to make sure she is OK.”

Amber is described as white, 5’ 7” tall, with long blonde hair often worn in a ponytail. She was last seen wearing her school uniform but is believed to have had with her a change of clothing consisting of black leggings and a black hoody, and black Nike trainers.

The police spokesman added: “If you see Amber or have any information on her whereabouts please email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk or call 101 quoting reference 1313 of 28/11. In an emergency or if the person is in danger call 999.”
