Competition gives lucky winner a chance to ‘push the button’
A SCHOOL group is running a competition to give one lucky winner the chance to ‘push the button’ to kick-start its fireworks display on Friday.
Friends of Thomas A Becket Middle School are running the competition, with the winner accompanying councillor Bob Smytherman.
To enter, design a fireworks picture, complete with name, address and a contact number on the back and drop it into the school reception, in Glebeside Avenue, Worthing.
The closing date is 3pm on Wednesday (November 5), while the winner must be available on November 7, from 6.30pm, for the display.
Hotdogs and drinks for the winner’s family will also be provided.
