Chichester Cineworld closed for the rest of the day

CHICHESTER’S multiplex cinema is closed for the rest of the day because of what Cineworld called ‘unforeseen circumstances’.

The cinema chain is asking people with pre-booked tickets to get in touch on 01243 792440 or send a message to its Facebook page at www.facebook.com/CineworldChichester.

It is understood the problem is not directly connected with the power problems affecting other parts of Chichester city, however it is believed to be linked to an auxiliary power issue.

The cinema said a ‘technical error’ that it was trying to resolve was behind the closure.

“We apologies for any inconvenience this may cause,” said the cinema chain.

This means the evening’s unlimited showing has been cancelled. It has been rearranged for next Monday (June 15) at 8.15pm.
