Car collides with verge in Warnham

A man has been released from a car in Warnham after colliding with a verge.

The incident was reported to West Sussex Fire and Rescue service at 5.40pm on Wednesday (August 3) after a car collided with a verge on the Dorking Road leaving a man in his 20s trapped.

The man was released from the vehicle using small gear and firefighters made the vehicle safe.

Two water tender ladder crews from Horsham and one heavy rescue tender from Crawley attended the scene along with an ambulance from the South East Coast ambulance service.

The man was unharmed in the collision.
