The team at the civil engineering and groundwork material specialists, located on Handcross Road, donated a range of sports equipment including cones, speed ladders, passing arcs and water bottles to help children learn new skills and enhance their agility and co-ordination techniques.

4 The Youth is based at The Forest School and works closely with the school to provide projects for young people. Since 2011 4 The Youth has taken on provision for many of the generic youth clubs in the Horsham District that have faced funding cuts. The charity hosts various sessions for children aged 8–16 years and offers a wide range of activities including sports, cooking and gaming.

Dean Sweet, Youth Support Worker at 4 The Youth, commented: “We’re very grateful to Rudridge for their generosity and for providing this fabulous new equipment to 4 The Youth. The children who visit our projects love to get involved with the activities, especially the sports games, so this donation will be much appreciated by them and will really add to our existing facilities.”

John Chesson, Branch Manager at Rudridge Horsham, added: “It is so important that children have a safe environment to spend time enjoying activities with friends and 4 The Youth is the perfect place for them to do this - it is a fantastic project. We are delighted to be supporting them and encouraging their children to learn new skills.”
