Burst water main halts supply in Horsham

A spokesperson for Southern Water said the cause of the loss of water was a ‘burst water main’.

At least 50 homes are believed to have been affected.

The spokesperson said: “We apologise to customers in the north of Horsham for the temporary loss of their water supply this morning.

“We had 50 calls from people reporting the problem, which was caused by a burst water main near Giblets Lane.

“It was discovered at 9am and within 20 minutes a crew began restoring supplies by isolating the burst. It will now be repaired.”
