Hundreds of people attended the Horsham District Council Full Council meeting, with some in the council chambers and the rest in the Capitol Theatre next door.

Councillors voted to approve the Horsham District Planning Framework Proposed Submission as its policy for planning for housing and economic growth up to 2031.

It will be published for a six-week period of representation before it is sent to the planning inspector for a number of public examination hearings later this year.
