Buildings which ‘enhance the district’ will be rewarded in the Mid Sussex Design Awards.
The awards aim to celebrate and promote the best architectural design in the area.
They are being sponsored by Cordek Limited, a West Sussex company specialising in technical solutions for a range of construction requirements.
Stephen Hearn, Managing Director of Cordek said: “We think the Mid Sussex Design Awards are a great way of encouraging good design. At Cordek we thrive on innovation and new approaches to construction, so this makes us an ideal supporter of the Awards.”
Giles Ings, RIBA, who is chairing the judging panel said he was looking forward to seeing which projects come forward.
Awards will be made in four categories – sustainability, small scale residential, large scale residential and non residential.
Entries can be submitted for schemes completed since May 2012 in the Mid Sussex area. Visit www.midsussex.gov.uk/designawards.
