Two residents have been awarded for their ‘exceptional service’ to their town.
The Horley Town Awards were presented during Horley Town Council’s awards ceremony at Regent Hall, in Albert Road, on Friday September 27.
Winners of the annual awards are decided by the public and awarded to local individuals who are considered to have given exceptional service and commitment to the town.
PC Ian Yeo was nominated for his exceptional years of service to the town.
Ann Middlecote, clerk at Smith’s Charity, in Horley, was nominated for her loyalty to the charity as she has volunteered there for more than 40 years.
A spokesperson for Horley Town Council said: “She has shown loyal service to this worthy cause, which has enabled local residents to benefit from the Charity.”
