“I got all the Allstars youngsters playing acoustic tunes at the event and, as it featured children with an average age of just 12 filling two-and-a-half hours of acoustic music, it’s pretty much the only event of its kind in Sussex.”

Shoreham Allstars is the flagship collective for Original Allstars Music, a community interest company which aims to provide young people of all backgrounds with the opportunity to experience music and to support them while they learn.

The Allstars are planning another night as part of this year’s Adur Festival, as well as other gigs and events in the next few months. Vist www.shorehamallstars.com for more information.

Vocalition voice coach Lee Ainley posted on Facebook to say it had been an ‘awesome acoustic gig’.
