It will be held on Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, a week earlier than normal, due to bank holiday falling on August 31 next year.

Airshow organiser Derek Harber said: “We learned a lot this year. The comments received from those within the aviation industry, and from the many people that attended, was that we had got it right with such a variation of display aircraft, making it one of the most popular airshows in the UK. We plan to extend this into 2015. We hope to be able to announce later this year the amount we will be donating to the Royal Air Forces Association (RAFA).

“This show cannot survive without the support of our dedicated team, sponsors, supporters, media and the public who come along to make Shoreham a truly family event that has retained its garden party atmosphere, making it just that little bit different.”

Display director Rod Dean is already in the process of book displays, with some more exciting new additions.
