Adur Festival: Generating greater sense of community spirit

Adur Festival would simply not exist without the support of local businesses sponsoring the festival and advertising with us.

If local business people did not continue to recognise the positive impact the festival makes, 1,000 local schoolchildren, 24,000-plus participants and more than 60 artists would not engage with arts activities right on their doorstep.

This year, Shoreham Port Authority and Gemini Print have come on board as festival sponsors. More on Shoreham Port in a couple of weeks.

Gemini Print has been providing outstanding print and marketing solutions in the UK for more than 40 years and the group’s headquarters is based in Dolphin Way, Shoreham, where the company employs 160 local staff members.

It has recently expanded both in size and capabilities, now operating nationally with key print operations in Bristol and London, but remains true to its local roots. Thank goodness, we said!

Adur Festival is very lucky to have engaged with Gemini Print, as it is a great believer in supporting and engaging with local businesses and charities.

After working in partnership with the Brighton Fringe festival for the last two years and continuing again in 2016, Gemini Print is equally keen to be involved with the Adur Festival in 2016.

It is particularly keen to be involved with generating a greater sense of community spirit in Adur and to ensure local young people engage with quality arts activities. “Hear, hear!” we say.

Gemini Print takes its corporate responsibilities extremely seriously and provides environmentally-friendly green printing services, backed by a series of environmental credentials that allow us to work under the ‘green printing’ label.

Gemini Print has really got on board with Adur Festival this year, given us a hot desk when needed, a flexible and quality service and a commitment to support the festival this year as an official sponsor.

Thank you to Gemini Print and all of our other supporters for getting on board and valuing what the festival offers for the whole of Adur.
