Gemma Arthurs, corporate fundraiser at CCHF, said: “We are absolutely delighted that Halifax customers and employees have made such a generous donation.

“The eggs were a fantastic surprise for the children and made a lovely Easter treat for those attending our residential activity and respite breaks.”

The Easter surprise was presented to the children by Halifax staff at the charity’s residential centre in Hassocks on April 11.

Rachel Brown, manager of Halifax in Burgess Hill, said: “Each year we look to support a children’s charity at Easter.

“We’ve been overwhelmed by the response from the local community and are very pleased they are behind our efforts to support such a great local charity as CCHF All About Kids.”
