Drivers face parking bans near 11 junctions with a busy road to make roads safer.
Experts believe that parking too near junctions restricts visability and increases
the risk of accidents.
Drivers are to be banned from parking near the junctions of Cants Lane in Burgess Hill.
The roads to have double yellow lines will be Woodland Close, Woodland Avenue, Brookway, The Nursery, Wyvern Way, St Andrews Road, Cants Close, The Kiln, Coppice Close, The Vineries and Kings Way.
The proposed building of about 500 homes at the old Keymer Tiles site, earmarked for closure eventually, prompted fears that a lot more drivers would be using Cants Lane from the new estate.
Anyone wishing to object to the proposed yellow lines must register their comments by December 12 by e mail to
firstname.lastname@example.org or letter to TRO team, West Sussex County Council, The Grange, Tower Street, Chichester, PO19 1RH, quoting full name and address and the refrence number SMS1008-MM
