According to the Guide, this 300-year-old local is the only true free house in the village. Situated on the northern outskirts, it is hard to find but well worth the effort. It offers up to two guest beers, which come from mainly Hampshire and Sussex micros.

Coral and Ritchie bought the pub in December 2015 and refurbished it. Now run by their son Lewis, it is known as the fastest pub in West Sussex due to its motorsport connections. It hosts regular events and street food is often available on a Friday night.
