Horsham garden opens for charity

A Horsham plant-lover is opening her ‘interesting’ garden in support of the National Garden Society on Saturday Aug 24.

Jean Griffin, a Horsham-based, Kew-trained horticulturist and local radio presenter for Sussex, Kent and Surrey, will visit for a Q&A session during the event.

Home-made cakes and a pot of tea will be available and served in the garden’s top terraces.

Pauline Clark, 68, a hair-dresser, will open her garden to the public on Aug 24 from 1-5pm, at 4 Ben’s Acre, Horsham.

Many plants will be on sale and entry is £3, children go free.
