Southampton's Mayflower cancels two panto performances

The two shows included this evening’s press night.

The show features Joe Pasquale, Lesley Joseph, Ceri Dupree, Neal Wright, Sarah Earnshaw and Georgia Carr.

In a statement, the Mayflower said: “Due to the indisposition of cast members from Sleeping Beauty and the nature of the socially distanced production, we regret to inform customers that it will not be possible for any of the performances today, Monday 21st December, to go ahead.

“We will update all customers as soon as possible about future performances.

“All customers affected by the cancelled shows will be offered a full refund.

“We would ask customers not to call the box office, we will be in touch with all affected customers in due course.

“On behalf of Qdos Pantomimes and Mayflower Theatre we are incredibly sorry for the disappointment this will have caused and we thank you for your amazing support in these challenging times.”
