The new exhibition features more than 30 items which have been donated to the society over the past couple of years and this will be the first time they have been put on public display.

Manor Cottage, in Southwick Street, will be open on Saturday, August 8, from 10.30am to 12pm and measures will be in place to ensure the safety of all visitors and stewards.

“The society is always delighted to receive donations of pictures relating to Southwick’s history and it is good to have an opportunity to share these with visitors.”

The eclectic mix includes locally-painted scenes and aerial views of Southwick in 1935 and 1955.
