More than £750 was raised, which was used to buy equipment for the school.

The 2nd Burgess Hill Boys’ Brigade and Girls’ Brigade were on hand while many of the children entertained the adults with a display of country dancing.

The youngsters then sat back and enjoyed the sight of their dads competing in a mini Olympics.

Pictured are four-year-old Cally Bridger as Boy George; Stephen Broadley, five, Vicky Shipp, 18 months, and Andrew Shipp, five, as eye patch-wearing pirates; five-year-old Jaime Williams as a crossword puzzle; and Jenny Handford, who was running the Pick A Card stall.
